Get Overdose Resources
Naloxone saves lives. We’re here to help you access it, learn how to use it, and bring Overdose Aid Kits to your community.
Whether you’re preparing for yourself, a loved one, or your community, Start Healing Now can help you access life-saving naloxone and overdose response resources. Naloxone is a medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose. It is available in several forms, including NARCAN®, a brand-name nasal spray that is available without a prescription at pharmacies.
Barriers such as stigma, cost, transportation, and limited local access can make it difficult for people to obtain naloxone. That is why Start Healing Now provides naloxone through the Overdose Aid Kit (O.A.K.) Program throughout Wisconsin.
If you are having a medical emergency, contact 911.
WISCONSIN NALOXONE AND TRAINING
Start Healing Now provides naloxone to individuals throughout Wisconsin and helps restock existing Overdose Aid Kits.
Our volunteers can also provide education and training on recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose and administering naloxone nasal spray.

Overdose Aid Kits
Overdose Aid Kits (O.A.K.s) place naloxone and overdose response instructions in accessible locations so people can respond quickly when an overdose occurs.
Start Healing Now supports the expansion of Overdose Aid Kits throughout Wisconsin in partnership with the Clinton Foundation’s Overdose Response Network, helping schools, community organizations, businesses, and other public locations make naloxone readily available when it is needed most. Together, we are working to expand access to life-saving overdose response resources and reduce preventable overdose deaths.
Start Healing Now receives naloxone through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Naloxone Direct Program, which provides this life-saving medication at no cost to eligible organizations across Wisconsin. This partnership allows us to distribute naloxone to individuals, restock existing Overdose Aid Kits, and expand access to overdose prevention resources throughout the state.
